Mastercard Usage Campaign Sweepstakes Rules – Consumer
1. Sweepstakes Period. This sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 12:00 AM Atlantic Standard Time (AST) and ends on Saturday, January 2, 2027, at 11:59 PM AST (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
2. Sponsor. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Mastercard and Oriental Bank (collectively, the “Sponsor”).

3. Eligible Person. Individuals who meet all of the following requirements are eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes (“Eligible Person”):
a. Are natural persons and legal residents of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
b. Are at least eighteen (18) years of age.
c. Are holders of a Mastercard Standard or Mastercard World Elite card issued by Oriental Bank.
d. Do not have any Oriental Bank account that is delinquent, charged off, blocked, or closed.
e. Are not employees of Oriental Bank, Mastercard, or any advertising, marketing, promotions, or public relations agencies involved in any stage of the Sweepstakes.
4. Eligible Purchases. Eligible Purchases means purchases of goods and services made with a Mastercard Standard or Mastercard World Elite card issued by Oriental Bank during the Sweepstakes Period and successfully processed and recorded by Oriental Bank (“Eligible Purchases”).
Cash withdrawals at automated teller machines (ATMs), cash advances, fund transfers, loan payments, interest charges, bank fees, reversed, canceled, or fraudulent transactions, and any transaction that does not constitute the purchase of goods or services will not be considered Eligible Purchases.
5. How to Enter. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Eligible Persons may participate as follows:
a. Each Eligible Person will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for every accumulated USD $50 in Eligible Purchases made during the Sweepstakes Period using their Oriental Bank-issued Mastercard Standard or Mastercard World Elite card. The total number of entries will depend on the accumulated amount of Eligible Purchases during such period.
b. Alternatively, any Eligible Person who wishes to participate may do so free of charge by completing one (1) free entry form per person during the Sweepstakes Period by visiting the Oriental Bank Marketing Department offices located on the 5th Floor of Oriental Center, 254 Muñoz Rivera Avenue, Hato Rey, on Tuesdays (business days) from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Entry forms must be completed legibly and include the participant’s first and last name, a valid and acceptable identification number (i.e., driver’s license or passport), mailing address, and contact telephone number. The information provided on each entry form will be entered into the electronic drawing system for inclusion in the Sweepstakes. No entries will be accepted after the Sweepstakes Period ends.
6. Prizes. Nine (9) 2TB iPhone Duos will be awarded among Eligible Persons who meet the requirements established in these Rules.
The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value. The Prize is non-transferable, may not be substituted in whole or in part at the winner’s request, and may not be redeemed for cash. The Sponsor will not be responsible for costs associated with activating the phone or for any monthly charges required to keep it active.
7. Winner and Alternate Winner Selection Date. The Sweepstakes drawing will be conducted randomly through a digital drawing administered by the Sponsor on Wednesday, January 20, 2027, at 4:00 PM. Nine (9) winners and ten (10) alternate winners will be selected. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
Alternate winners will be contacted in the order in which they were selected if any winner fails to respond within the thirty (30) day period established to claim the Prize.
8. Notification of Winners and Alternate Winners. Winners will be notified by telephone and email on Tuesday, January 26, 2027, between 10:00 AM AST and 5:00 PM AST. From the date of notification, winners must respond within thirty (30) calendar days to claim the Prize (the “Claim Period”).
Once a winner responds to the email or telephone call through which they were notified of their selection, the Sponsor will notify them through the same communication channel, within thirty (30) days of confirmation, of the date, time, and Sponsor-designated office where they must appear to claim the Prize.
If a winner does not respond within the Claim Period, they will be deemed to have forfeited the Prize, and an alternate winner will be notified (in the same manner as a winner) and will have the same Claim Period to claim the Prize.
Prizes are not transferable. To claim a Prize, the winner must present a government-issued identification containing their photograph, first name, last name, and signature, such as a driver’s license or passport.
9. Disqualifications. The Sponsor reserves the right to evaluate each participant to determine eligibility for participation in the Sweepstakes and compliance with these Rules and any applicable requirements described herein. The Sponsor may disqualify any participant (including potential winners) at any time for failure to comply with these Rules or any applicable requirement. Oriental Bank reserves all rights available under law in the event of any attempt to violate these Rules or provide false information.
10. Consent to Use of Likeness. By accepting the Prize, winners consent and grant the Sponsor and its affiliates, advertising, marketing, promotion, and public relations agencies the irrevocable right to use their likeness (including their name, photograph, portrait, voice, signature, attributes, or any representation of their person) for any purpose related to the Sweepstakes (including commercial, trade, or advertising purposes) through any medium, anywhere in the world, and for an unlimited period, without notice, consent, or compensation.
11. Release of Liability. The Sponsor and its affiliates, advertising, marketing, public relations, and promotional agencies, as well as their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively and individually, the “Released Party”) shall not be responsible for any express or implied warranties, accidents, losses, and/or damages, direct or indirect, of any kind suffered by the winner, alternate winner, their relatives, or any other person or entity arising from the use, award, acquisition, enjoyment, or possession of the Prize. Nor shall they be responsible for defects in the Prize, accidents, claims, losses, thefts, damages, or injuries of any kind resulting from the receipt, award, use, enjoyment, or possession of the Prize. By accepting the Prize, the winner, on behalf of themselves and their successors, releases the Released Party from any and all causes of action or claims, whether judicial, administrative, or otherwise, related to the use, award, acquisition, enjoyment, or possession of the Prize. If necessary, the winner awarded the Prize must accept any reasonable delay relating to its delivery.
12. Applicable Laws. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable laws and regulations of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States of America (the “Applicable Laws”). The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Sweepstakes and modify these Rules or the advertised Prize in accordance with Applicable Laws. 13. Disclosure. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes full acceptance of these Rules, which will be available on the Oriental Bank Blog at the following address: blog.orientalbank.com.
